How late is breakfast served on Saturday??
No frills, just good hot food.
Amazing food , good prices , tons of food they give you! Try their catfish and burgers very pleased! Friendly wait staff and quick time to receive food. Would highly recommend
MoreThis place was absolutely amazing. My wife and I agreed this was definitely one of the best chicken fried steaks we've ever had. The batter was amazing and the steak was perfect. Had the onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious as well. The fried shrimp didn't disappointe and the sweet potato fries were on point. I'd drive 150 miles back here just for the chicken fried steak.
MoreSteven's Gap is a small, quaint little diner. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Quiet busy with a study flow of locals and tourists. Service was great. Food arrived quickly, hot and fresh. We ordered burgers, fries and tots. Delicious! We each had a slice of pie for dessert. Amazing!
MoreI always enjoy eating here. One of the longest standing restaurants in the Hochatown area and still making good food at a good price, love a hometown cafe feel, I never leave unsatisfied!
MoreDecent place to get a quick bite. The food was good, not anything great, but good. The food did come out quite fast and the staff was friendly. Prices are a little on the high side, but portions (at least what we had) make up for that. The picture is of the SMALL catfish plate. Overall, pretty good.
MoreWe visited at the end of breakfast. We were able to order off breakfast menu which was wonderful. Our food was delivered quickly. All hot and delicious. The diced potatoes were great. The price was excellent for the amount of food and quality of food received.
MoreOur last day at Broken Bow we had our breakfast at Stevens gap and it was wonderful. I got the loaded breakfast burrito and my wife had an omelette. The food was made quickly and our server kept our drinks full. Wish we would’ve made it for dinner because the fish looked delicious from other people’s reviews. If your staying at broken bow Stevens Gap is worth a try. We will be back when we visit broken bow again.
MoreVery affordable place to eat. The pancakes are so big they take up a whole plate! The portions for meats like bacon and sausage are generous as well. Definitely one of the best places in town to get breakfast.
MoreVery nice tasty food. Worth the money. Staff are very kind and sweet too.
Delicious food with giant portions for a low price!
The food was just OK, the staff was unfriendly. Ordered chicken fried steak and it was OK, but nothing special. Staff was impersonal and rude. Other great options in the area for a good meal.
MoreLove this place! The food is always good and the employees are very nice and helpful.
MoreAmazing. Fresh. Worth a stop
Very good country breakfast stop.
Best breakfast burrito I've ever had no lie.
Chicken fried steak, sweet potato fries, steamed vegetables all great. Chefs salad fresh and huge. All at reasonable prices. Locals come here instead of the tourist traps.
MoreFood was good but was slow to get to the table
Stevens Gap was the most amazing eating experience we had during our vacation. My husband and I ate here 4 or 5 days in a row, my favorite by far was the grilled chicken livers and my husband also had his favorite which was the chicken fried steak. The desserts were just as amazing, our favorite was the Humming Bird cake. Really enjoyed this restaurant, we will definitely be back to the area and definitely back to this little jewel, Stevens Gap.😊😊😊😋😋
MoreGood food & fast friendly service. Not too expensive. Try the fish!
Decent place to eat. Can't get chicken fried steak for breakfast, though...The staff was friendly and our food came out relatively quick. We had a large group and they were able to seat us immediately, which was nice.I would go back and try their lunch as they have quite the catfish selection.
MoreGreat local find with a robust menu - salads, burgers, sandwiches, baskets and entrees.
MoreGreat food great service, best cooks!!
I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago. It's a somewhat small restaurant and there was a little bit of a wait. The food took awhile to come out but it was delicious. I ordered the fried catfish basket with fried jumbo butterfly shrimp on the side. The catfish batter was flavorful and crispy, same as the shrimp. I also ordered the spicy fried pickles. The pickles were amazing and they came with a delicious Chipotle ranch, which had a little bit of a kick to it.
MoreFrom the outside you may be a little skeptical but they surprised me. They where busy and only one waitress, she was a star and the food was piping hot
MoreThe best French toast and catfish we have had in a long time. Great prices too!
Great food, small but efficient dining area. Best catfish my husband ever ate and I loved the fried pickles. Worth the stop.
MoreWas hesitant to try after seeing a few negative reviews of cold food/poor service, but there were few other options in the area for breakfast. We had absolutely no problems at all and the food was awesome! Definitely recommend their breakfast sandwiches! Toast was buttery and toasted crispy to perfection, melted cheese on both sides and no shortage of egg/meat! Potatoes on the side were crispy and hot! Service was timely and wait staff was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back!
MoreGreat food and great service!
I love Beavers Bend and Steven's Gap is a great place to camp, swim and fish
The food was great! Good portion size and tasty. The restaurant was clean, but the service was a little inattentive. We got our food and didn't see our waitress again. We had to flag down a different worker to get refills and our check. I'd go back for the food, though!
MoreGreat Food, Great Service. Place stays busy but worth the wait.
Very affordable prices and good food. The kids meals were a little overpriced compared to the rest of the menu. The tables were dirty when we went in. You seat yourself and we had to ask the server to take some dirty dishes when she came to get our drink order. There was only one bathroom. Overall, we'd be back. The food was good and that's the most important part.
MoreI am giving this restaurant one star because It is required otherwise I would not of given this restaurant a star at all. My husband ordered the “famous catfish” and I ordered the fried shrimp dinner. First, their “famous catfish” is Swai and not American catfish. Second, the shrimp was so overcooked that the one bite I had tasted like charcoal. The beans were cold and the waitress never came back to the table after delivering our food to check on us or refill drinks. When I took our check to the front to pay, our waitress asked how everything was and I told it was horrible and told her my shrimp were burnt and the beans were cold. Obviously her asking about our food was simply a rhetorical question because she feigned an apology and charged us for the entire meal. I won’t be back and I don’t suggest you go either.
MoreStandard little country roadside cafe. A diamond in the rough. Menu items are reasonably priced. My order was properly cooked using fresh ingredients in a reasonable amount of time. Had to ask for refill of coffee and water -1 star.
MoreExcellent chicken, wonderful breakfast, and great pies. Definitely recommend stopping by to eat here if you're in the area.
MoreYummy breakfast! Huge portions-price was decent for portion sizing. It was a tad crowded for breakfast, but service was good.
MoreAn excellent place to enjoy delicious all American style food with good southern hospitality from the staff. This place has definitely made the top 5 best meals we’ve enjoyed in Broken Bow, OK.
MoreAmazing food and service.
Best catfish I know of. I've been searching out the best catfish houses around Texas and Oklahoma for years and this is it. Massive portions, excellent food. I'll put this up against anything.
MoreWow. We had breakfast and lunch here while we were in the area. Good food. Incredible service. The breakfast cook sings like an angel and needs to know that he should be famous. AND he cooks a mean egg. We will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend. The bacon is just crispy and also somehow floppy enough to make you feel like mama made it. The pancakes were sweet even without syrup and *with* syrup they were deadly. The eggs on my Texas toast sandwich were cooked and folded in a way that made them feel fluffy and airy. One of my boys had a burrito that was also delicious. (Of course I tried a little bit of everything) At lunchtime we had catfish and shrimp and wowza. That really hit the spot. Good, clean fish with just the right amount of breading, and fried to perfection. The hushpuppies were another big hit. I can't say enough good things. Thanks for the good food, y'all. Can't wait to come back.
MoreWe eat breakfast here every morning we are down here. Love it!
Great food hometown feel will definitely return
$17.00 for a chicken fried steak and a sprite took over 30min to get food and even had to remind waitresses then she said it would be 10 more min. Food came out and on a scale of 1-10 it was 3.5 at best. Not sure if it was an off night but I ordered before a big party walked in. Either way i wont be back. Lots of other options in the area
MoreAwesome food and friendly people!
Very cool place I really liked it but there are a lot of biting flies and mosquitoes. All the bites made it hard to enjoy otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
MoreGreat food and the staff was soooo friendly and helpful.
Great friendly service the food is great.
Good old fashioned diner! Been here a few times on our trips to Beaver’s Bend, and looked forward to it every time. They have a great breakfast menu, and the coffee is always hot.I would have posted a picture of the last meal I got, but I was super hungry and devoured it before I had the chance. It was French toast with sausage, and it was fantastic. The wait staff are always super friendly, and we have never had to have a long wait there, but we often go early for breakfast or during off-hours for lunch and dinner. As Joe Bob Briggs would say, 5 stars, check em out.
MoreI liked the omelet but the pancakes were great
